Bigfork has gone a perfect 3-0 against Polson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings & Valkyries will take on the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Bigfork's defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so Polson's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Bigfork will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 13 points last Friday, then bounced right back against Libby on Friday. The Vikings & Valkyries blew past the Loggers 46-9. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Vikings & Valkyries had established a 36-point advantage.

Cole Schmit looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 161 yards and three TDs, while also punching in one rushing score. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Ryeln Rodriguez got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Bigfork didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Libby to a completion percentage of just 44%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Austin Savik, Rodriguez, and Holland Jantzen, who each logged one passes deflected. Bigfork wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 66.7%.

Bigfork didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tayden West and Oliver Buzzell.

Meanwhile, Polson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 41-6 loss at the hands of Whitefish. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-0.

Bigfork now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Polson, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Bigfork against Polson in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, as the team secured a 38-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings & Valkyries since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
