Lior Leshem of
Taft (Woodland Hills) is this week's MaxPreps California High School Football Player of the Week. Leshem received 52 percent of the total voting.
The senior wide receiver accounted for a school record eight touchdowns in the Toreadors' 78-41 ove Grant (Van Nuys) on Friday. Lenhem caught 10 passes for 354 yards and seven touchdowns. He also added 106 kick return yards and a touchdown in the victory,
His teammate Devon Conroy, who also was a Player of the Week candidate, threw for 535 yards and nine touchdowns on 20 of 25 passing.
For the season, Leshem has 642 yards recieving on 30 catches and 12 touchdowns for 2-2 Taft. He has 808 yards of all-purpose offense with the kick return yards.

Caruthers: Senior running back ran for 440 yards and six touchdowns on 29 carries in a 79-38 win over Riverdale.

Bo Coronado,
Colusa: In a 42-6 win over Willows, the senior quarterback was 9 of 18 passing for 236 yards and five scores.

Aaron Forsgren,
Esperanza (Anaheim): Ran for 325 yards and five touchdowns on 37 carries. The senior running back added another score receiving on two catches for 40 yards in a 63-34 win over Dana Hills (Dana Point).

Jackson Kollock,
Laguna Beach: Senior quarterback threw for a school record 451 yards on 24 of 40 passing with five touchdowns in a 68-48 win over Santa Ana.

Isaiah Rameau,
Chatsworth: The senior running back ran for 303 yards on 10 carries and four touchdowns in a 56-8 win over Reseda.

Jerod Bubba Smith,
Fowler: The sophomore quarterback threw for 452 yards and six touchdowns on 18 of 28 passing in a 59-30 win over Minarets (O'Neals).
