The Tintic Miners's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They lost to Altamont at home by a decisive 50-36 margin. If Tintic was looking for revenge after losing 46-35 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Tintic lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kyah Farr, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Farr has scored all season. Mikenzie Brunson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Tintic has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Altamont, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Tintic will head out on the road to challenge the Rebels at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Rich will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Altamont, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m.
