Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Colusa RedHawks walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Warriors 42-6 on the road. The win was just business as usual for Colusa, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.
Colusa's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bo Coronado, who threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes. Isaiah Travis did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Colusa pushed their record up to 13-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for South San Francisco, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2.
Colusa will take on Sweetwater at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sweetwater is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. South San Francisco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
