Osceola is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Zephyrhills as they made off with a 16-1 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three games in a row.
Ava Inman looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bella Carter was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cassidy Allen, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.
Osceola kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Clearwater sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Gulf on Wednesday.
The team relied heavily on Madelyn Conner, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Osceola's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Clearwater, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.
Clearwater's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Osceola has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .452. It's a different story for Clearwater, though, as they've only averaged .328. Will they be able to contain Osceola's hitters?
Osceola skirted past Clearwater 4-3 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
