After soaring high against Essex last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Saturday. Burlington/South Burlington fell just short of Rice Memorial by a score of 6-8.
The loss dropped Burlington/South Burlington back to even at 1-1. The win bumped Rice Memorial's record up to 2-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Burlington/South Burlington take on Colchester at 7:00 PM. Rice Memorial are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Hartford at 7:00 PM.
