The Mountain View Bruins will head out to challenge the Provo Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Mountain View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Timpanogos, who was ranked sixth at the time (Mountain View was ranked 24th). The Bruins had just enough and edged out the Timberwolves 2-1. Surprisingly, this marked the sixth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Giancarlo Alcala and Alex Olmos scored both of Mountain View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Provo fell victim to Orem and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. Provo have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Provo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Mountain View, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Mountain View was able to grind out a solid victory over Provo in their previous matchup back in March, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
