Michael Moreno made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.
In other batting news, Isaiah Capetillo was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Zorola, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, while Trinity Christian put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for All S. The Lions didn't even let the Saints on the board, marking the Lions' second-straight 10-0 shutout.
Lamesa's record now sits at 10-6. As for Trinity Christian, their record is now 10-1.
