Prairiland is on a five-game streak of home losses, the Indians a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Prairiland Patriots will take on the Grand Saline Indians at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Friday, Prairiland was beaten by the Mustangs 59-26. Prairiland has not had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-18, which was the final score in Grand Saline's tilt against the Bulldogs on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Grand Saline has scored all season.
Prairiland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season. As for Grand Saline, their loss dropped their record down to 16-13.
Prairiland skirted past the Indians 38-35 when the teams last played back in January. Does Prairiland have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
