St. Peter's Prep dropped their record down to 13-6 on Saturday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the St. Joseph Regional Green Knights by a score of 4-3. Jayden Beriguette was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one double. That double was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Chi, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
As for St. Joseph Regional, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games.

Looking ahead, St. Peter's Prep will take on Hudson Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Marauders are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Joseph Regional, they will face off against Bergen Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on the 12th.
