Volleyball Recap: First Flight Takes a Loss

First Flight lost against Holmes back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Nighthawks lost 3-0 to the Aces.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-11.

First Flight's offense was headlined by Megan Ward and Ashlyn Hux, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Poe Thibodeau and her five assists. Ella Morris controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

First Flight's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Holmes, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

First Flight has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Perquimans on the 19th. As for Holmes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Northeastern on the 18th.
