The J.F. Webb Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their ninth straight loss. They fell 74-66 to Carrboro. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the defeat, J.F. Webb saw an underclassman step up: Daniel Wright scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Wright also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Allen, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Carrboro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Myles Gary led the charge by scoring 18 points along with four steals. Sam Kanjorski was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. J.F. Webb will take on Granville Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Granville Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than J.F. Webb in North Carolina (Granville Central is ranked 202nd, while J.F.
