On Friday, Parkway South was out to avenge their 12-22 loss to Parkway West from the last time they squared off against one another, but the team left empty-handed. Parkway South were given a punishing 0-35 loss at the hands of Parkway West. The state rankings had actually given Parkway South a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Parkway South off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Parkway West a 1-0 record.
Next week, Parkway South take on Northwest at 7:00 PM. As for Parkway West, they will face of against Oakville.
