The Christian Learning Academy Eagles can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 78-71 win over Heritage Christian School. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gavyn Gailfoil, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Reid, who scored 22 points.
Christian Learning Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Heritage Christian School, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5.
Christian Learning Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Heritage Christian School will head out on the road to square off against Landmark Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
