The Memorial Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 23 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 61-38 margin over Lowellville. The victory was just what Memorial needed coming off of a 67-32 defeat in their prior matchup.
Aziyah Flores was his usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Christos Davis, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Lowellville, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-3 record last season and are now at 2-4.
Memorial will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Girard at 7:00 p.m. Girard has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lowellville, they will head out on the road to face off against Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
