Hanna was handed a three-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Rivera on Tuesday. Hanna simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rivera 70-41 on the road.
It was another big night for Beto Galarza, who scored 26 points along with three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Hanna's points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Torres, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, San Benito's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They took a hard 43-24 fall against Weslaco.
Hanna's victory bumped their record up to 23-12. As for San Benito, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.
Hanna strolled past San Benito when the teams last played back in January by a score of 58-39. Will Hanna repeat their success, or does San Benito have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
