Beaver Local has won 17 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Minerva has won 17 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much  on Tuesday. After both having extra time off,  the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 6:00  p.m. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Beaver Local had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Indian Creek on Tuesday. The Beavers were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Redskins.
 The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21,  25-5.
Meanwhile, Minerva posted their closest  victory since September 9th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past Carrollton  3-2.
 Minerva was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 24-26, 15-25, 25-20,  15-7.
 Beaver Local better keep an eye on  Jenna Dowell. She was instrumental in Minerva's win,  getting 22  digs and two  aces. What's more,  Dowell posted four  assists, the most she's  had since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hudson Shellenbarger, who  had ten  digs.
 Beaver Local's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Minerva, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
 Beaver Local took their  victory against Minerva  in their previous meeting  back in August by a conclusive  3-0 score. Do  the Beavers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
