St. Charles Catholic took down Donaldsonville 50-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Comets led 3A District 7 in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on the Tigers.
St. James's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jason Favorite threw for four yards and Aeneas Bell had four yards receiving. On the ground D'Kwan Sandolph chipped in 18 yards.
Donaldsonville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Leondre James has thrown for 934 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Stephen Sullivan has 32 catches for 333 yards. James also leads the league in rushing with 204 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when St. Charles Catholic takes on Port Allen. As it stands, Frank Monica's team is in fourth, while the Pelicans are in first.
Brusly made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,017 from 2,748. The improvement came about via a 43-7 victory over White last week.
