Springville is a perfect 4-0 against Timpview since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Red Devils will be playing at home against the Thunderbirds at 3:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Springville has six straight wins, Timpview has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Springville barely beat Spanish Fork the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Dons on Tuesday.

Logan Sitterud tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kasen Torres, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Timpview nor Maple Mountain made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Thunderbirds came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 16-5.
Elliot Myers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
Springville pushed their record up to 10-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Timpview, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Springville has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442. However, it's not like Timpview struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Springville took their victory against Timpview in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Thunderbirds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
