Meanwhile, Southfield Arts & Tech got the win against Harper Woods on Wednesday by a conclusive 19-1. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.
London Adams, 2028 made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Adams, 2028 was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Cienna Bell, 2028 was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Trinity Hester, 2028 was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs.
Southfield Arts & Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .750. They are 11-4 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Southfield Arts & Tech is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for West Bloomfield, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-21.
