The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cullman Christian in their matchups with Victory Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
Victory Christian found their leader in underclassman Bentley Cable, who scored 36 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cable has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of William Wilson-Hueter, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Cullman Christian's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Victory Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
