Claire Seal continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Seal has scored at least a third of Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's points. Another player making a difference was Sophie Monts, who scored five points.
Central A & M's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-7. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central A & M will square off against Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clinton and Central A & M are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, they will head out on the road to face off against Villa Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Villa Grove has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11.
