The Lanier Voks fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They breezed by Highlands on the road to the tune of 38-7. That's another feather in the cap for Lanier, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lanier's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Highlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lanier will face off against Alamo Heights at 2:00 p.m. on October 28th. Alamo Heights is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Highlands, they will head out on the road to face off against Sam Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sam Houston will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
