The Keio Academy of N.Y. Unicorns can finally bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 61-52 victory over Children's Village. That nine point margin sets a new team best for Keio Academy of N.Y. this season.
Children's Village's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mansura Choi, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds, and Makai Webster who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Choi has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Malik Williams, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.
Keio Academy of N.Y.'s win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-12. As for Children's Village, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-15.
