Walnut Hills is 10-0 against Anderson since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Walnut Hills Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Anderson Raptors at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Walnut Hills has five straight victories, Anderson has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Walnut Hills' game was all tied up 15-15 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Lebanon by a score of 46-35.
Anderson suffered their biggest loss since December 16, 2023 on Monday. Their rough 52-30 defeat to West Clermont might stick with them for a while. Walnut Hills' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
Walnut Hills strolled past Anderson in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 54-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walnut Hills since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
