The Governor Livingston Highlanders will head out on the road to take on the Hillsborough Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Governor Livingston will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while Hillsborough is ranked 36th).
On Thursday, Governor Livingston didn't have too much trouble with Roselle Park at home as they won 55-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Governor Livingston.
Even though Hillsborough has not done well against Hunterdon Central recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Hillsborough walked away with a 47-36 win over Hunterdon Central.
Hillsborough's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aadit Shah led the charge by scoring 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shah has scored all season. Philip Unangst was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Governor Livingston's record is now 7-4. Hillsborough's record is now 9-2.
