Hanover-Horton is 10-0 against the Panthers since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Hanover-Horton Comets will be playing at home against the Addison Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hanover-Horton has three straight victories, the Panthers have four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Hanover-Horton at home against the Jayhawks as the squad secured a 77-41 victory. That looming 77-41 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hanover-Horton yet this season.
Hanover-Horton relied on the efforts of Luke Soper, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, and Logan Blackledge, who scored 24 points along with six assists and three steals. Blackledge hasn't dropped below 19 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Jack Wooster, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Addison suffered a tough 73-49 loss at the hands of the Trojans on Saturday.
Hanover-Horton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Addison, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12.
Hanover-Horton was able to grind out a solid win over the Panthers in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 65-56. Will Hanover-Horton repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
