The Paducah Dragons lost against the Stamford Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Paducah lost to Stamford at home by a decisive 57-43 margin. Paducah has not had much luck with Stamford recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Paducah's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jakyen Wright, who scored 19 points. Wright scored a full 44.2% of Paducah's points, the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darren Mackey, who scored 11 points.
Paducah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Stamford, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Paducah will head out on the road to face off against Aspermont at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stamford, they will be playing at home against Olney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
