Meanwhile, Nederland made easy work of William Smith on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Nederland took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-10.
Nederland can attribute much of their success to Roo Mannion, who had five aces.
