There's no place like home for Winfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Ripley Vikings on Tuesday. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Winfield easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.

Winfield's win bumped their record up to 9-4-2. As for Ripley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Winfield and Ripley will both be playing St. Joseph Central the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Generals will play them later in the day, at 8:30 p.m.
