The Eastern Randolph Wildcats came into Wednesday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Graham on Wednesday as Eastern Randolph made off with a 52-27 win. The win was just what Eastern Randolph needed coming off of a 59-23 loss in their prior game.
Eastern Randolph got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenly Whitaker out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ziera Watson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Eastern Randolph's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-17. As for Graham, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
Eastern Randolph will face off against Uwharrie Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Uwharrie Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday. As for Graham, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Moore at 6:00 p.m. Graham is facing North Moore at the right time seeing as North Moore is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
