Ava Bulanti was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
In other pitching news, Mercedes Coller looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up a single earned run any time she's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, Saint Francis let Peyton Tsao and Gabby Rocha run wild. Tsao got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Rocha went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Jaime Oakland was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
