The Eminence Eels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They took a serious blow against University, falling 78-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Eminence has scored all season.
University got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Max Mccomb out in front who scored 15 points along with four steals. Mccomb is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Cammack, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Eminence's loss was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for University, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Eminence will be playing in front of their home fans against Dugger Union at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eminence is facing Dugger Union at the right time seeing as Dugger Union is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for University, they will head out on the road to challenge Indianapolis Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully University focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
