Mills University Studies has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Morrilton Devil Dogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Morrilton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Mills University Studies, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Mills University Studies was able to grind out a solid victory over Robinson, taking the game 30-21.
Mills University Studies can attribute much of their success to Akyell Madison, who rushed for 102 yards on only 13 carries, and also threw for 188 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.2% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Chauncey Haynes, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Morrilton ended up a good deal behind Pine Bluff on Friday and lost 26-7. Morrilton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mills University Studies' win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Morrilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Mills University Studies was able to grind out a solid victory over Morrilton in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, winning 30-23. Does Mills University Studies have another victory up their sleeve, or will Morrilton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
