Pickerington North got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jarin Mock out in front who threw for 224 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 45 yards and one score. That's the most passing yards Mock has posted since back in November of 2024. A healthy portion of Mock's aerial production (93 yards to be exact) went to Kymani Johnson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Grove City lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Owen Steele, who picked up 174 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also hauled in two receiving touchdowns, which is notable because Grove City is 2-1 when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Carson Welsh, who threw for 242 yards and a pair of TDs.
