The Moss Point Tigers lost against the Pass Christian Pirates back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Moss Point was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 32-31 to Pass Christian. Moss Point has not had much luck with Pass Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Moss Point lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ziara Cato, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Ford, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Moss Point now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Pass Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.
Moss Point on the road again on Friday and play against Bay at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. The timing is sure in Bay's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Moss Point has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. Pass Christian will take on Poplarville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
