It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Deerfield Beach Bucks had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 50-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Deerfield Beach.
It was another big night for Larrisa Francois, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Tatiana Ramsey was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Deerfield Beach has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Stoneman Douglas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.
Deerfield Beach will square off against the Sharks at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Stoneman Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
