Softball Recap: Eastern Alamance Gets the Win

Eastern Alamance has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Southern Alamance Patriots 11-10. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Brylea Warren was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Edie Stewart, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Eastern Alamance's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Southern Alamance, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Coincidentally, Eastern Alamance and Southern Alamance will both be playing Orange the next time they take the field. The Patriots will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
