There's no place like home for String Theory, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They took down Central 50-32 on Tuesday. This was payback for String Theory, who suffered a 64-62 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Jason Pezzetti continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. He hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Justus Robertson, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Central saw an underclassman step up: Yamir Knight-parker scored 22 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 68.8% of Central's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Malachi Brown was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.
String Theory's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. String Theory will take on the at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will be playing at home against the at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
