Last Wednesday, Boca Raton Christian strolled past Glades Day with points to spare, taking the game 58-42.
Boca Raton Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joshua Good, who scored 17 points along with five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Good has scored at least 25% of Boca Raton Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Good, who scored 16 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to FAU High, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They took a 70-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sports Leadership & Management on Thursday.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Samuel Joseph, who scored 32 points along with seven rebounds. The match was his ninth in a row with at least ten points. Jason Sauveur was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Boca Raton Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for FAU High, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9.
Boca Raton Christian and FAU High were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January of 2020, but Boca Raton Christian came up empty-handed after a 52-51 defeat. Can Boca Raton Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
