It was a good run, but The Aragon Dons unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 21-14 to Capuchino. The match was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Aragon was outscored by Capuchino in the second.
When it comes to explaining why Aragon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ivanhoe Nisa. Despite the final result, he rushed for 163 yards. Nisa is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played.
Aragon's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Capuchino, their victory was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-1.
Aragon will challenge Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Capuchino, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mills at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Mills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 860th, while Capuchino is ranked 369th).
