Franklin Academy extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 8-3. They blew past the Triangle Math & Science Academy Tigers 59-30. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.
Franklin Academy was led to victory by Dylan Smith and Jacob Barnes. Smith posted six points along with seven assists and seven rebounds, while Barnes almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayes Lewis, who earned ten points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.
