O. Perry Walker extended the longest winning streak in 4A District 9 this week by beating McKinley, 19-14. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Chargers.
Karr led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Cox.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Easton takes on second place Belle Chasse. Easton bested South Terrebonne last week, while Belle Chasse topped Chalmette.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when O. Perry Walker takes on the Cougars. Emanuel Powell's team has allowed 55 points this season, while Karr has given up 92. The Chargers allowed 14 points last week as they defeated the Panthers.
McDonogh 35 fell 16-14 to Livonia in the closest game of the week. In the loss.
