After having lost a blowout in their matchup two weeks ago against Chaminade, Poplar Bluff were happy to find some success last Friday. Poplar Bluff strolled past Hillsboro with points to spare, taking the game 30-14.
Meanwhile, Oakville have been struggling to pick up a victory, with their contest against Mehlville making it six winless games in a row. Oakville took a serious blow against Mehlville, falling 6-44.
Poplar Bluff's win lifted them to 4-5 while Oakville's loss dropped them down to 1-8. We'll find out if Poplar Bluff can add another positive mark to their record or if Oakville can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Poplar Bluff's step.
