Eisenhower is 2-8 against Wenatchee since April of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cadets are taking a road trip to face off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Eisenhower's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
Eisenhower's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 23-0 margin over Davis. The win continues a trend for the Cadets in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Julissa Andrade and Annaka Yockey made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Andrade pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Yockey didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. At bat, Andrade went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one double, while Yockey went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Eisenhower got a massive performance out of Zabella Hickenbottom, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. With that strong performance, Hickenbottom is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. Kylie Stephens also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Eisenhower was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .613. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Wenatchee lost 10-3 to Moses Lake on Friday.
Wenatchee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adamarie Iniguez, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Another was Sierra Cook, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Eisenhower's record is now 7-5. As for Wenatchee, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Wenatchee's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eisenhower has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Wenatchee, though, as they've been averaging 10.2 hits. Given Eisenhower's sizable advantage in that area, the Panthers will need to find a way to close that gap.
