Plateau Valley entered their tilt with Soroco on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 43-29 victory over the Soroco Rams. The Cowboys pushed the score to 34-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams cut but never quite recovered from.

Plateau Valley found their leader in sophomore Macy Bevan, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 17 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Emaline Ealey, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Plateau Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in six consecutive matches.

Soroco lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mary Adrian, who put up six points and six boards. Kolbie Pierce was another key player, putting up seven points.

Plateau Valley's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Soroco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Plateau Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-38 victory against De Beque on the 18th. As for Soroco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 37-18 win against North Park on the 21st.
