It's playoff time, and Calvert had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Old Fort Stockaders get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Senecas, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Calvert's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Vincenzo Lyons, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Lyons a new career-high.

Calvert always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Old Fort only posted an OBP of .188.

The victory (which was Calvert's 12th in a row) raised their record to 24-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Old Fort, they dropped their record down to 7-18 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

As of now, neither Calvert nor the Stockaders have any future games scheduled.
