Last Friday, Ponaganset put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 33-7 margin over Pilgrim. Ponaganset were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Toll Gate were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-18 to Narragansett. This makes it the second loss in a row for Toll Gate.
Ponaganset's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Toll Gate's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Ponaganset can add another positive mark to their record or if Toll Gate can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Ponaganset's step.
