The biggest upset of the week belonged to Damonte Ranch, who took down 32nd ranked Damonte Ranch, 27-24. MJ FARTHING threw for 159 yards and four touchdowns in the win.
Carson was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to first in I Northern - Sierra. Earlier in the week, the Senators defeated Reed 32-30.
Conner Peterson was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 25 carries, he ran for 184 yards as Douglas topped the Raiders. Michael Nolting also contributed to the rushing game with 31 yards on the ground.
Thurman was the best wideout in the league this week as Blair Roman's team defeated Reed. Thurman racked up four receptions for 97 yards. Matt Nolan helped Carson's passing attack out by catching six balls for 61 yards.
JACK SANDERS made the biggest impact on defense this week as Bishop Manogue bested the Mustangs. The 6-foot-1 defensive back pulled down one interception and recorded one fumble.
The Tigers' Nolting and Dustan Fisher have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading I Northern - Sierra in both passing and receiving yards. Nolting has thrown for 1461 yards this season, while Fisher, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 43 catches for 788 yards. Damonte Ranch's Drew Smith leads the league in rushing yards with 998.
Smith of the Shawn Dupris's team is only two yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Mustangs take on Carson. As it stands, Damonte Ranch is in fourth, while the Senators are in first.
Carson and Ernie Howren's team played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Carson eventually emerging with a 32-30 victory. Garrett Schafer threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
