The Perry Meridian Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the Lebanon Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Perry Meridian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Perry Meridian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 9-6 win over Ben Davis on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Giants: they've now won three in a row.

Perry Meridian got a great performance from Caitlin Harris as she struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits. Those six strikeouts gave Harris a new career-high.
At the plate, Karsyn Naue and Macy Stroud did most of the damage at the plate: Naue went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Stroud scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave Stroud a new career-high. Alivia Neace also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Lebanon is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Covenant Christian on Thursday, but Covenant Christian came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Tigers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Warriors. Those eight runs were actually the fewest the Tigers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
Krryn Miller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Addy Zell was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. MacKenzie Carey was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
Lebanon pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 15.0 runs this season. As for Perry Meridian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
